Francesco was an amazing host. He assisted with transporting our luggage to the apartment. He provided information on where to eat and what to see. The apartment, centrally located in the centre of the old town, was absolutely stunning and the views from the apartment were stunning.

The location is ideal for exploring the walled city. With two very updated bathrooms it was ideal for our group of four. But what was truly outstanding was the great communications from Francesco the owner of apartment. In addition, when we arrived he met us at free parking and led us to the free parking right by apartment to unload all of our luggage. Then he led us back to park our car at the free parking and then drove us back to the apartment. Lucca is a labyrinth of small twisting streets and it was so helpful for Francesco to help us navigate. He also gave us links to attractions and best place to rent bikes to ride around the city walls.

Host was very nice and helpful. He picked us up from the station and helped us make a reservation for dinner at restaurant Gigi directly below the apartment.

Great location and good air con in bedrooms.
No drawers in room so had to keep clothes in suitcase on the floor (small rail with a few hangers only in room). Bed sheets all stained. Pillows were like rocks - extremely uncomfortable. Although there were 2 bathrooms they are not en-suite which isn’t great with a group of friends to have to walk through the kitchen to the bathroom. Very dark property.
