About this house rental
If you are looking for a classic cosy farmhouse experience you will find it here in this traditional two-story vernacular farmhouse. It is a newly refurbished comfortable bright farmhouse with some original features such as the green staircase and green farm doors, the fireplace with the original crane where pots would have been hung for cooking. Upstairs the high timber ceilings give a great sense of space. It has a large garden for eating outdoors in the summer and is cosy in the winter with a real fire lighting in the large stove. It’s ideal for a break away for a couple or two or a small family.
It is situated just off the Wild Atlantic Way, in the Reeks District, an area of outstanding beauty with lots of outdoor activities on your doorstep. Fancy a bit of stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking or hiking, this is the ideal location. You can go from Blue Flag beaches on the Wild Atlantic Way to the towering peaks of the McGillycuddy Reeks, including the highest mountain in Ireland, Carrauntoohil, making for dramatic views all around.

There is a cosy living room with several couches to sink into and read your book. Patio doors off the living room let lots of light in and lead to a patio area where you can dine outside or just enjoy sipping a glass of wine in the sunshine.

This house sleeps four very comfortably, it has two bedrooms. The first bedroom on the first floor has a king size double bed, the second bedroom on the first floor has a double bed. Both have lovely high timber ceilings. The beds are cosy and comfortable with natural wool duvets and pillows, cotton bedding and luxurious mattresses.

There is one bathroom in this home on the first floor with bath and shower.
Outside Space
The sitting opens out onto a patio area with kettle BBQ, the ideal setting for long lazy lunches with friends or a relaxing time looking out on the large garden and the hills beyond.

It is very cosy and homely house, a quite place to relax. Good start for cycling tours around Caragh Lake or to Killarney.

Great location near Killorglin. Pleasant bed, nice shower, all the amenities for a comfortable stay.

The Cottage was adorable. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Nice Linens and towels. The biggest issue we had during our stay was the lack of important supplies. Items such as Paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, Dish soap and kitchen towels... The Cottage is managed by a Rental Company, and it appears that they were unaware of the supply issue. Once contacted supplies were dropped off. If you decide to rent, review with Management the amenities that are needed.
