About this cottage rental
In Berry, near Châteauroux, the National Shooting Sports Center (CNTS), and the George Sand House. A charming house located in the grounds of the Château de Clavières, bordering the Indre River, with a beautiful forest perfect for walks, boating, or canoeing on the river. Here, time seems to stand still in an ideal setting for fishing enthusiasts and hikers, with its numerous trails and fitness trail. It's also ideal for tourists wishing to follow in George Sand's footsteps with her walking tour and explore the Berry region and its castles. Amenities include a shared, heated, covered swimming pool (12 x 4 meters), bicycles, a rowboat, a canoe, and a pedal boat for use on the Indre River, as well as a designated fishing area. The accommodation features a lovely kitchen opening onto a large terrace with a table and garden furniture, and onto a spacious private garden furnished with sun loungers and a barbecue area. On the ground floor, you'll appreciate the large, welcoming open-plan living/dining room adjacent to a reading room, foosball table, and a toilet.
Upstairs, you'll find four bedrooms with wardrobes, a separate toilet, a bathroom (with two sinks), and a shower room. Heating (pellet boiler), bed linen, and end-of-stay cleaning are included in the price. Parking is available on the property.
