About this house rental
We have a charming, sunny, and immaculate bedroom, furnished with a desk, chairs, closet, art, full double bed, reading lamp, and pine floors. Private en suite bathroom is included. Wi-Fi and other utilities are included, as are all linens and towels. Private parking, washer/ dryer, and utilities are included. Beautiful spacious backyard and garden included. A microwave oven and small refrigerator are included. Separate private entrance for this suite so no shared spaces. Our home is located in the University Mound section of the Portola District on a sunny hill with expansive Bay views. Glen Park BART train station is nearby and multiple Muni bus stops are within 3 blocks of our home. We are just 2 blocks from beautiful 300+ acre John McLaren Park. Walk to Bernal Heights, the Mission, Glen Park, the Excelsior, and the Portola. I-280 and Hwy. 101 are nearby so commuting to Silicon Valley is easy. Ideal for tourists/ vacationers, working from home, corporate professionals, researchers/grad students, and commuters. We traditionally rent this room for periods no longer than 3 months, but would consider longer.

I had a nice stay in the garage suite. The room and bathroom are nice and have plenty of storage space, and the kitchenette is located in the garage. There's some noise by the window from a bus passing regularly and there was occasionally noise from the upstairs guests walking around, but the neighborhood overall was quiet. I liked that it was close to McLaren Park. Good communication with Herbert. I felt he listing is a bit misleading in that garage access is not actually guaranteed, and I had to park on the street/driveway for 10 of the 40 days of my reservation. Overall good stay for reasonable price.

Herbert is an outstanding host. He is very kind, caring and so prompt and available with communication. His suite is so cute, clean and equip with everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The Portola district is also so beautiful. i hope you get a chance to book a stay with Herbert :)
