The location was perfect.

The TV wasn't a smart tv and during some wet and windy weather it kept breaking up. Not a big issue if you're out and about.

A beautiful spacious bungalow in a lovely quiet location near the beach. Plenty of space for everyone.

Honesty Cottage is quite simply the best self catering holiday let we have ever stayed in. The position of the house was in a quiet cul-de-sac just on the edge of the little seaside town of Maidens on the Ayrshire coast. We love the area because of it being so quiet with beautiful scenery and next to the beach 2 mins away. The bungalow itself was very good, very clean and comfortable with a nice homey feel. It was very well appointed with a separate dining area and a sun room to the rear. The kitchen had every thing that you would need including a full size fridge freezer. The fully enclosed back garden was great for sitting out in and enjoying the peace in the sun. Our little dog loved it. We would highly recommend this place and would definitely hope to return to Honesty Cottage again soon. The surrounding area is full of places to visit like Culzean Castle and grounds. Turnberry is just a short drive away if you play golf, Dunure is close by with its ruined castle and great walks and sea views. Ayr to the north and Girvan to the south for a busier day out for the kids.
