About this house rental
This is our homage to the 60’s and mid-century style. Experience the 60's with wild turkeys and deer that traipse in the courtyard. (Yes, we literally named the room 'Groovy')
Experience the mod '60s, the joys of the country, *and* all that the Fredericksburg area offers just a hop, skip, and jump away.
The space
Groovy! is a private room nestled in Odonata Escape. Groovy has a mini-kitchen (microwave, toaster oven, Keurig, mini-fridge) and bedroom (KING BED, Baby!) along with its private bathroom. Use the deck, go to the firepit, walk the landscaped grounds, or use your included nook/daybed to read (take a nap....).
When you want, Fredericksburg downtown Main Street is about 5 mins. away, and the 290 wineries (8 mins or so.)
Groovy! at Odonata Escape is where the country meets the new and retro. Embrace a fun, funky experience where you can stop and take a deep breath away from your daily routine and chaotic life. Perfect for travelers, or couples on a weekend getaway.

We had an amazing experience and found the property to be very clean. The cabin/rental was unique the way it is built was so cool and very comfortable. We hope to come back soon.

My husband and I loved our weekend in Fredericksburg. We walked the property with our dog, read in the reading nook, and went into town, less than ten minutes away. We’ll be back!

We took our small dog Gertie with us to this cabin and had the best, most restful escape. The firepit was a welcome feature at the end of the night! (We got lucky and were the only ones there! It was very cozy.) The owners also communicated with us to let us know that the city planned an electricity blackout during our stay, which was helpful. Would definitely recommend any of these cabins and we plan to be back!
