Great location, especially for Aberdeen and Deeside. Ian and Alison were very welcoming hosts. The cottage was warm and cosy and had everything we needed.

A literal cottage as you could imagine. The owner, also the host, builds it lovely and keeps it well. A real fireplace within it and the host can provide you with enough logs to have fun.
The host and hostess are lovely and helpful. They won't bother you, but give you all the answers when you need them.
A host-made garden behind, it might be the varied scene in every season. And it might have some cherry trees so a short period of spring the blossom would be amazing.
If a bus route stopped by the entrance could make my next visit there easier.

Beautiful little cottage in lovely scenic countryside that was toasty and warm despite the freezing cold and heavy snowfall.
