‘The Coach House’ is situated on the edge of the Cotswold escarpment, in an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' and is surrounded by unspoilt countryside, with views towards Gloucester, Cheltenham, The Malvern's and beyond and is located between the villages of Upton St. Leonard’s and Painswick, affectionately known as 'The Queen of the Cotswolds.' The property lies adjacent to the owner's home and is just over half a mile away from Painswick Beacon, one of the highest points in Gloucestershire and the midway point for the Cotswold Way. Historic pubs and restaurants and a well stocked supermarket are all within a five minute drive of the property as is horse riding and golf. Cheltenham, famous for its horse racing and jazz and literature festivals, and Gloucester with its magnificent cathedral and 'Quays Shopping Outlet' with waterside restaurants, cafes and bars are all within a twenty minute drive. The newly refurbished property benefits from an open plan kitchen/diner/lounge with oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine/tumble dryer and TV, 1 double bedroom with en-suite shower room, 1 twin bedroom with TV and seperate shower room. My husband and me staid for 2 weeks in this great property and enjoyed the piece and quiet. Our days could be easily filled with many excursions and hikes around Painswick and beyond. One thing is necessary to repeat: the house is first class, spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished to a high standard. We will be happy to come back!

Great stay. Lovely house. Very clean. Friendly owners. Beautiful location in the country side. We enjoyed the Cheltenham festival and several horse riding excursions. Would stay again.
