We have stayed here so many times and it just perfect.
John and Lisa are amazing! Which matches the excellent standard of their lodge!
It’s always spotless and beautifully decorated with a homely feel which you don’t get in many lodges! The hot tub is lovely and secluded.
The location of the property is perfect and quiet.
I highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet break away.

The property itself is huge. Great kitchen space, large living room diner and bedroom was lovely. Great facilities throughout. Lovely quiet location. Owners done a lovely job with the place.
Unfortunately, I hate having to leave more negative than positive but sadly these are things that couldn’t be ignored. While the property was lovely, the location to what seemed to be on a residential area you kind of felt like you almost had to keep your noise down any time of day and felt like you were an outcast staying here. There was an off vibe so to say. That’s our own opinion of course. Phone signal, everyone knows about this, yes it’s rubbish but that wasn’t an issue for us, though I’d suggest for the price the owners charge; installing something like Starlink wouldn’t go a miss and to fix the antenna for the TV. Another point was the hot tub, did seem very dated and being it was still winter and the afternoons are dark, none of the lights worked in the tub. Now, third and final. Due to a family emergency we had to leave in a rush on our last night and I’m pretty sure I left a Portable SSD that I used because I knew TV signal wasn’t the best. I still haven’t found it up to this day. I contacted the property on the hopes they or the cleaners may have found it. Unfortunately, the owners said they’d ask but I never heard anything back. Saddened to say I’ve now lost a £130 storage device. Apart from that, the place was generally lovely.
