The accomidation was close to all the nesseticies. The accomidation also provided floor heating which was more than enough to keep cozy in the cold environment.
The back garden provided a view of the lake and mountains. Altogether it was everything we could have asked for.

Great location with a nice garden, direct access to the lake, magical view. The stuff was nice, the host was always willing to help and the local owner of the gift shop was very friendly and helped us with some recommendations about the town.
The obvious drawback is absence of any signs indicating the slope inside the yard which is invisible due to snow. It resulted in my car being stuck, so I had to pay 200 euros to take the car out and I was constantly worried if the car was ok after that (luckily it was).
Also it would be great to clean the dust under the furniture in the house - in some places it hasn’t been cleaned for ages.

Fantastic location on the edge of the lake, amazing view from the kitchen window. Great underfloor heating kept it really cosy. Owner very friendly and made sure we were comfortable. Close to supermarket and restaurants. Kitchen was really well equipped and there was cooking oil, salt, pepper, herbs, sugar, teas and coffee which was a great bonus.
There was a lot of large antique furniture in the small apartment which would not be to everyone’s taste and it was still quite expensive but everything in Hallstatt is expensive!

Great location, very cozy apartment. Karlheinze was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. He proactively notified us about some issues and was very flexible when our arrival time was changing.
