The apartment is very sweet comfortable cozy and clean. It looked exactly the way it did in the photos. Wonderful to have a separate bedroom after five weeks in hotel rooms! We walked with our luggage (with wheels) from the train station which took about 20 minutes. Not sure if there were taxis around but we arrived on a Sunday and enjoyed the walk. We were in the area to see the amazing megalithic sites and Auray made a perfect base for this. The town is absolutely gorgeous and has everything you need. The market on Monday is fantastic. Plenty of local restaurants too. I would not recommend this place for anyone with disabilities or inability to walk up steps as there are two flights that you must negotiate with luggage etc.
The only thing I could say is there were no mugs! We went to a local shop and bought some nice ceramic mugs as we like a good cup of tea 😆 Also, if you are visiting out of the busy seizing, remember that many businesses close between 2 and 7 pm. We got caught out once but even then managed to find a fantastic Restaurant.
