Great location - charming place, clean and comfortable
Directions on how to locate the chalet on Booking.com - the map was inaccurate
Description of accommodation did not show that there were two separate parts ie ground floor flat and upper floor maisonette.

The Chalet was located very close to all the action in Zermatt AND was super quiet. Perfect combination. Host was very responsive to questions and requests.
The door to the ground floor apartment (separate entry from main property) had a sticky lock that was hard to open and unlock. Host responded quickly to request for maintenance.

Loved the location! Communication with the owner was easy and helpful. The chalet had everything we needed to have a little fondue with friends, and even enjoyed doing a puzzle.
The downstairs is very nice, but because it is at street level you can't leave windows open, so it smelled a bit damp the whole time. It is a minor problem that didn't change how much we loved the place!

Right next to main square so easy access to everything. Good kitchen with all you needed to cook meals. Small deck. Light and airy up stairs in the kitchen living area. Not any direct sun except via sky lights. Comfy beds. Clean bathrooms
Was a construction site next door which we would have liked to know about before our stay and chosen a different place but there is a lot of construction in Zermatt at present. Not the hosts fault they are building next door. Construction starts at 07:30 and finishes at 16:40 large site so must have been underway for a long period of time. We had the downstairs flat as well which smelt of cigarette smoke. This area was clean but very dark and couldn’t open windows due to privacy with construction workers outside
