About this bed and breakfast
Beautiful two bedroom townhouse located 1 block from the heart of Fredericksburg, MAIN STREET! This unique Hill Country charmer sleeps 4 and is a few steps from downtown shopping, restaurants, tasting rooms and bars!!!
Welcome to The Gardens of Barons Creek, Unit C-located on the Barons Creek off Main Street. Here you will find a well appointed kitchen that has seating for 4 at a bar top along with a dining table and chairs for 4 in the open floorplan Sunday Haus. The living area has ample seating in an L shape leather couch with 5 recliners - perfect for sipping wine around the wood burning fireplace! There is a full bath on the first floor with walk in shower.
Upstairs you will find two bedrooms, both with queen size beds and another full bathroom with a shower & tub combo! Plenty of space to unwind and relax!
The fully fenced backyard is covered with crushed granite with a seating area.
We gladly allow pets with a $50 per pet fee for the stay. Max 3 pets please.
The BBQ pit is charcoal and if you want to light a fire in the living room, remember to purchase bundles of wood ahead of time at HEB. Coffee pot is Kuerig and we supply first days pods!!
Spring is a perfect time to visit THE TEXAS HILL COUNTRY! The bluebonnets are everywhere here and there are plenty of outdoor festivals too!!!
Fredericksburg TX hosts CHRISTMAS DECORATION annually at its MARKETPLATZ with caroling in English and German!!! There is an ICE BAUN as well for Ice Skating with the kiddos!!

Danielle’s property was perfect for our little weekend getaway. The downstairs has plenty of room and both bathrooms are decent sizes. The beds are so comfy and felt amazing after a long day out in Fredericksburg. I would not recommend walking into downtown from here because even though it is close, there is not a sidewalk. However, it’s a very short drive into downtown and is in the perfect location if you are wanting to venture out to the vineyards! Lots of great places to eat are nearby as well. The road noise is pretty loud, however it’s not too bad unless cars blasting music roll by. A few reviews for Danielle’s place mention hot tub/pool. These are amenities for the other cottages next door to Unit C. The backyard at this cottage is a decent size if you bring your dog, but there is no hot tub or pool at this one. We really enjoyed our stay. Great communication with Danielle and she was able to check us in early, so we could make it to a vineyard before it closed. We’d happily stay here again or at one of her other properties.

First let me start with the house was cute and had everything you needed for comfortable stay.Here are a few things I would change:1.Both bedroom’s were small and the furniture was too big leaving nearly no room to walk around.2. Bathroom upstairs was a good size but mirror hung way too high, and nowhere to put your toiletries. Needs small vanity or shelves.3. The bath tub upstairs held too much water around the tub and we have to use every towel to dry it up that was not planned well.4. No working lights in the backyard not good when you have a pet.

My husband and I stayed here for a few days while visiting Fredericksburg for his birthday. It was just the two of us but we enjoyed having more room. This is now one of our favorite places to stay while in town.
Things we loved:
• The house was ready a little before check in, and was clean, and well decorated
• The pool and hot tub were awesome - it was pretty hot when we were there and the pool was cool and refreshing
• The upstairs bedroom and bathroom were spacious and really nice
• The upstairs bed was so cozy and comfortable (coming from people with back issues that have a hard time sleeping in hotel beds)
• Sitting on the upstairs balcony at night when it was cooler.
• The host was very easy to reach and quick to respond to all messages. We ended up having some issues with some rowdy neighbors and she took care of it quickly.
Things we didn't love (but won't keep us from coming back):
• There is a LOT of road noise from Main street, especially upstairs - next time we will probably bring an extra fan or white noise machine to block it out.
• The downstairs bedroom is nice, but the bathroom is a lot smaller and shared with the living area, and the bed was not near as comfortable as the one upstairs. That bedroom is MUCH quieter though and you can't hear any road noise. We would have slept in there if the mattress was the same as upstairs.
• It is backed up to main street but if you're walking you can't walk right out on to main (front door is on Austin)
