About this house rental
The Stables is a 4 bedroomed beautifully furnished barn conversion with a dining kitchen and comfortable lounge. 1 Kingsize bedroom with extra single day bed and En-suite bathroom, 1 Full bathroom, 1 Kingsize bedroom, a further upstairs single bedroom and a downstairs single bedroom with large walk in en-suite wet room. A large outdoor terrace for alfresco dining. Underfloor heating for the cooler months, a large smart tv and wifi broadband. Full use of the 3 acre private lake for fishing and leisure at no extra cost. Double Sofa bed in the lounge area.

Very enjoyable weekend stay - hosts were very approachable and helped us with suggestions on what to do. The barn is very well equipped and the hot tub was a lovely bonus. We plan to return again next year.

Daw and John are wonderful hosts and their holiday cottages are a delight. It was quite difficult to find a place as nice that could house our family comfortably and I am very glad I found this property.
We had some passport problems and our hosts were really helpful going well beyond what was required and really helped us work through the situation (something that most high end hotels would have struggled with).

Very nice barn conversion with all mod cons in a quiet rural area yet very close to main roads for easy access. Only stayed 2 nights so not enough time to explore but plenty of walks starting right from the doorstep. In summer one can enjoy the lake much more than just walking around it, I'll certainly be back with my fishing gear.

Really enjoyed our week in a great location. House was perfect for 5 of us. Good fishing on the lake and masses of walks around for the more active. Cannot fault the place and will certainly return.
