The house is very nicely done up on the inside, relatively newly renovated, and everything worked well. Overall the rooms were comfortable.
The neighbourhood is not bad, but a bit dodgy, and while there was street parking available outside we decided we were more comfortable paying to park at the relatively close by train station. We didn't realise it on arrival, but the house was full of perfume emitters plugged into the wall - which triggered a migraine in one of our party, so we lost an entire day because of it. We politely mentioned what happened to the owners, and that they should be aware that a lot of people have allergies to such things - to which the response was "we'll look into it"; without so much as a "sorry". There is also a large drop outside the main bedroom, as the stairs are one step off being aligned to the hallway (so you have to step down, then back up) - not great for wandering out of bed in the middle of the night half asleep...
