Travelling 27weeks pregnant with my husband, 5 year old daughter and 3 year old Son. I know, ouch. We landed in Marco Polo and got a private boat transfer to San Silvestro via Consorzio Motoscafi Venezi. The cost was 150€ and it was worth every cent!! Before we'd even arrived, the host Laura had contacted us with directions on how to get to the apartment exactly, how to gain access and that she had pushed the beds together for extra safety for the children, who, upon arrival, were delighted to find kinder eggs on their pillows. A lovely touch. Remember the municipality of Venice has imposed an entrance fee in some cities. Laura will send you the link to obtain the exemption for access to Venice for everyone in your party. There is a tourist tax to pay in cash when you have arrived. The apartment is set out well, but be mindful that the living room is connected to the children's/ second bedroom if you were hoping to watch something after freedom from the children. The whole apartment was spotlessly clean. The beds are extremely comfortable and basics are provided, such as washing up liquid, towels, kitchen equipment, sugar etc. -bring or buy the tea or coffee that you want. Breakfast tea and instant coffee isnt so easy to come across in shops. The location was fantastic! It was away from the hustle but not detached, quiet enough at night even with a bar outside your door. The closest vaporetto stops are less than 5 and 10 minutes walk, depending which way you travel. The train station is 20 minutes and the museum of natural history was 16 minutes. Theres a spar about 5 minutes, 2 ice cream shops and pizza shops on your doorstep and the most fantastic masseuse 2 minutes away (ELE riflessologia e massaggio). Overall, this has been a brilliant holiday for us and we all hope to return in the future. Thank you Laura and we all absolutely adore Venice now.

There was a bath and a shower, fantastic. However the temperature gauge on the shower was not easy to navigate (This was reported to Laura) and the fancy jacuzzi settings on the jacuzzi bath were not available, so no frills there if thats what you were hoping. Last niggle - the sofa in the living room is a sofa bed and not comfortable for extended periods of sitting on. Very firm, very unwelcoming for the backside.

Property was very central and spacious 2 bedroom apartment. Host was lovely.

As it is a very central location there is some street noise from below in the evenings. Mornings are quiet though.

Great location! Lovely set up of the apartment, we spent most time in the kitchen rather than the living room as it can easily fit 4 people comfortably!

Fantastic location, 2 minute walk to the Rialto Bridge and surrounded by fantastic cafe bars and restaurants ! Lovely and clean with a fantastic host ! I honestly can’t recommend this apartment enough, we have stayed in Venice 13 times and this has been our favourite apartment by far !
