Beautiful setting but overpriced for what it offers
Staff assists with basic facilities (checkin checking out).
I had an issue in the evening as an animal was in the room ci went downstairs no one available. I called the number shown, no response.
The following morning I flagged it to the receptionist, and he didn’t say much (about the animal in the room and the lack of assistance).
Definitely better options in the area for the price paid.

The Art Hotel in Dubrovnik is in a beautiful spot and close to everything you could need. It was the most 'budget' accommodation we stayed in while visiting Croatia, but still had everything we needed. The staff were beyond helpful and really went out of their way. The only warning I would give, is the stairs leading to the hotel. There is no lift and in order to get to the hotel, we had to carry our huge suitcases down 60+ stairs. It wasn't made clear on the booking page, otherwise we may not have chosen this hotel for that reason. It would be fine if you had smaller bags, but not practical for big suitcases.

Art hotel is at an amazing location, right by Lapad Beach. Very quaint, extremely helpful and courteous staff. I had a sea urchin sting me and Clara at the reception was so helpful with providing me first aid and helping take out the pincers. Rooms are small, but nothing you shouldn’t expect out of a small seaside hotel. You’re paying for the location and a quiet stay away from the hustle. Approach is through 90 tiny stairs. So if you’re not up for a trek with your suitcases, this isn’t the place for you. Staff will be unable to help. But that apart, beautiful !
