Bankwell Cottage

Spacious and very homely, immaculate and in a lovely location

There wasn’t anything.

The location of the accommodation was brilliant. We were attending a wedding nearby but also had to collect from Newcastle. The house was very spacious and homely with lots of thoughtful finishing touches - towels, soaps, washing tabs, welcome gifts etc. The gardens were large and enclosed, with seating available. Wildlife was abundant nearby - rabbits, moles, red kites and a barn owl. Also, the train over the weekend was so cute!! The house was warm and had plenty of hot water and space for 4 adults.

Nothing, it exceeded our expectations.

Spacious, very well equipped. It was evident a lot of thought had gone into setting the cottage up.

Have no reason to not like anything. It ticked all our boxes and we had a very nice break.

Lovely cottage surrounded by nice views. Extremely comfortable beds and very quiet considering next to a road. We were staying to attend a family party but being originally from Newcastle I know this cottage is perfectly located for seeing all the sights and loveliness of the North East. If shopping is your thing the Metro Centre is 10 minutes away. A large supermarket is also 5 minutes from the cottage along with copious amounts of restaurants and takeaways. We will definitely stay again!
