About this apartment rental
The bright and well-located apartment “Reichenaublick” is situated in a central part of Allensbach and is only a few metres from the lakeshore. The 70 m² apartment consists of a living room with a sofa bed for one person, a well-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms (one with an additional single bed) as well as one bathroom and can therefore accommodate 5 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi. The balcony, where you can start the day with coffee and breakfast, offers nice views of the lake and the mountains in the background. You will find a bakery and a pharmacy just across the street, a supermarket and a restaurant serving local dishes after a 2-minute walk (160 m), and you will get to the nearest beach, Strandbad Allensbach after a 17-minute walk or 1.3 km. You can also get there by bus, which leaves from the train station - 140 m or a 2-minute walk away. There you can relax in the sun, swim in the clear blue water and enjoy the wonderful lake and mountain panorama. After a mere 3-minute walk (230 m) from the apartment, you will arrive at the ferry terminal, from which you can cross the lake to the beautiful Reichenau Island, a UNESCO World Heritage and popular destination for day trips. Trains take 8 minutes to Radolfzell and 10 minutes to the picturesque old town centre of Konstanz. The area around Allensbach is also ideal for hiking and cycling, due to its many idyllic forests and the natural reserve. Skiing is also possible after a 45-minute drive (35 km) across the Swiss border.

Pros: Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut gelegen. Bäcker, Eisdiele, ein kleiner Supermarkt, Bahnhof und Strand waren alle innerhalb weniger Minuten und nach ein paar Metern erreichbar. Ebenfalls gibt es einige Restaurants in der Nähe. Zudem kommt man schnell in die umliegenden Ortschaften.
Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und hat uns auch viel für den Strand bereitgestellt.
Cons: Während eines Gewitters tropfte Wasser durch einen Riss in der Decke. Die Vermieterin hat jedoch versichert, sich darum zu kümmern.

Wir fanden eine Wohnung vor mit sehr schönem Balkon, Sicht auf den Bodensee.
Leider war die Wohnung schlecht geputzt. Zu Beginn hatten wir kein warmes Wasser in der Küche (was dann am Sonntagabend aber behoben wurde). In der Dusche kann man nicht aufrecht stehen. Da ein Duschvorhang fehlt, muss man sich bücken und sehr vorsichtig duschen, um nicht den ganzen Raum nass zu spritzen.
Die Vermieterin reagierte auf unsere Beschwerden bez. Warmwasser, Sauberkeit und Situation in der Dusche eher ungehalten. Zugutehalten müssen wir ihr, dass sie am Sonntagabend mit einem Handwerker vorbeikam, um das Problem mit dem Warmwasser zu lösen.
