This was the perfect little getaway to recharge after 5 days in a Hostel in Edinburgh. The bed was so comfy and it was lovely to be able to watch a movie in bed. Our breakfast selection was quite generous and we really appreciated the fresh eggs. The shower was hot and it was great to find some shampoo and shower gel to take a break from our shower bars.
It's a bit of a steep walk to and from town if you don't have a car but it's a charming neighborhood and we enjoyed the walk.
If you plan to take a bus to nearby sites, be prepared to walk the 15-20 minutes into town to catch the bus!

A lot of extras - breakfast items, snacks.
It was hard to find. There wasn’t a sign on the gate. We didn’t realise there were 4 other little flats on the property. It took us a while to figure out where ours was. We had trouble with the internet not working. We also couldn’t work out how to use the tv.

We loved that they thought of and provided everything for us, including breakfast.
We were advised there was wifi but there was no connection. We also had a cold spell while we were away and there wasn't a heater provided for in the bathroom.
