If you're looking to expand your horizons and see other nearby locales, you can catch a train at Rome Castel Fusano Station, a short 13-minute walk away.

This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom rental features a sofa bed, a safe, and air conditioning. Enjoy the free WiFi and cable/satellite TV. Bathroom amenities include a hair dryer, a bidet, and towels. We had just spent two wonderful weeks in different parts of Italy and wanted to stay somewhere close to the Rome airport before our departure. We picked this spot due to closeness to the sea and it did not disappoint! We were extremely impressed by the kindness and support we received from our host. He was always in contact with us and even shared a lot of helpful information of things to do/see in the area to save us time. This was a nice touch! We met exactly on time and he gave us a personal tour of his cozy and clean apartment. We had everything we needed and even cooked a meal before going for a walk next to the beach. The next day before we departed, we did another walk and had a capuccino at one of the beach front cafes listening to the waves crash. It was the perfect way to end our trip and made us want to return to Ostia Antica for a longer stay next time we visit Italy. The apartment was lovely. Nothing big but perfect for my wife and I. The location was right across the street from the sand and sea. The host was super nice, friendly and helpful! I hope to return soon!
