The location was absolutely superb. A one minute walk to the Opera House and Pavillion Gardens and about 5 minues from a large range of shops and restaurants and cafes.
The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of storage.
There was also a communal lounge area which was a lovely addition

Great location and traditional building. I’m sure other rooms were great but ours was not.
Room was up many narrow awkward stairs with very little headroom. My partner if 6’3” so he was Very restricted in every room. I am 5’7” and I bumped my head a few times so I really felt for him. The room was ‘Dome’ room was noisy all night as the wind was kicking up a cable or something on the roof and slapping it against the tiles. Room had no view as the only window to the front was a high skylight in the bathroom. We hightailed it out of there as early as possible without trying the breakfast. Very expensive for a third class room.
