The owner, his parents and neighbor were so sweet, communicating with us on the day of our arrival and throughout our stay to ensure we made it from the airport and to the apartment and that we were enjoying our stay and finding our way around. They even had water, tea, soda, some snacks, coffee there for us which made life so easy. Although this wasn’t the fanciest places we stayed in, it was the one we enjoyed the most because of its location. It isn’t in the city center so it allowed us to experience a truly Italian neighborhood. Neighbors come out at night and eat at the local pizzeria, have gelato, coffee and hang out on the benches. They are happy to talk to you which was fun for us. There are lots of buses near by so we easily got to any place we wanted to go. The apartment itself is a nice size, allowing us to spread out. The beds were pretty comfortable. They had left us adapters which was great because we forgot ours so we were able to charge our phones. There were only two things that could use improvement. First there is air conditioning in only two rooms so one of the bedroom was very warm. Luckily there was a ceiling fan so my daughter was able to cool it enough for her needs. The second is the shower. The bathtub is old so is looks dirty although it isn’t. The apartment was nice and clean. The shower head didn’t stay in a position so you couldn’t stand under so you had take it off to rinse off.

Fantastic location and easy access to everything you need for a nice stay, short or long, including bank, grocery store, pharmacy, local restaurants and plenty of other shops of all kinds. The Marconi/Firmi stop for the 170 Bus line gets you into Rome Center with ease. For the family or couple looking for an authentic stay within Rome’s out limits, it was truly peaceful and relaxing and nice for a ‘come home’ feeling at the end of day exploring. We were able to cook several times during our stay and the hosts were exceedingly accommodating in every regard! Could easily have stayed another Month, though 10 days was a perfect length stay to Re experience all that Rome and italy have to offer. My wife, 14 year old son and I thoroughly enjoyed the privacy, the plants, the security and the space of our own apartment vs a hotel for our stay! Sparsely decorated and all the dressers and wardrobes were empty for a simplicity of use, making for an elegant at home feeling!

Great apartment. Public transport is nearby, 15-20 minutes to the center. Near the market, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants. Prices are lower than in the center. The landlord is very attentive, always in touch and very responsive. The apartment has everything you need, a lot of different dishes, you can cook by yourself. Juice, milk, water were in the refrigerator on the day of arrival. Thank you very much for the good atmosphere and hospitality.

We enjoyed our stay. They were great to work with and accommodated all of our needs. Our only concern was from the listing we thought it would be closer to Trastevere. Overall a great experience!
