You'll find snow sports gear on site at this family-friendly chalet. There's convenient onsite parking, so you can leave your vehicle behind and let your feet make short work of the 1-minute walk to Les Portes du Soleil or the 15-minute walk to Châtel Visitor Center.

Pros & Cons•Kitchen – Very well equipped! Lots of festive plates and bowls, coffee mugs, wine glasses, PLUS two great raclette grills (and outdoor grill too!). We made great use of all.•Emilie also secured an extra high chair and portable crib for us – so we had TWO of each. SO helpful!•Living dining space open room with loft game room (with good, protective railing-good for “littles,” ages 1 and 3). Game room with dart board and pool table had lots of use by grandkids and adults! Hot tub great!•4 Bedrooms downstairs met our needs. The bedrooms had excellent automated room darkening shades. (darkening shades are much needed with long daylight hours!) •Laundry room with drying racks in addition to dryer very helpful.•Greatly appreciated help and recommendation about the multi-pass for the area. That truly was a huge money-saver - many activities appealed to our group. Included FREE access to Chatel gondola as well as more chair lifts in nearby towns. We also took advantage of the FREE miniature golf, trampoline jumping and discounts for adventure climbing park, etc.•Chatel was a fun community with easily accessible restaurants, patisseries, and lots of activities close-by. We really enjoyed great hiking being so easily accessible! Con’s•Only ONE parking space is available for this house. •Not all fees clarified up front. 3 weeks before arriving I learned there would be a fee for linens and cleaning. •Smoke detector?? Listed on “amenities” Not found.

We were a group of 10 with an age range of 10 to 69 years. The chalet was ideal for us all (we are all fit and mobile). Check in was very good and easy, facilities were as described, it all made for a very enjoyable stay in Chatel. We will be looking to stay in Loutsa again.
