Bauernhaus Martinus

Great location, walking distance from lift. This side of town is more peaceful and less crowded which we loved. Bakery, bus stop, restaurants, shop, close by. The key was accessible through a key locker so we didn't really see anyone. Questions were answered quickly though and when we adker for a snow shovel they cleared the snow around our cars and put the shovel in a place where we could find and use it as well. Information was given beforehand and was very clear. So we liked the good communication. Good ski locker room right next to entrance. Easy parking besides apartment. Shower was great, cosy apartment and lots of pots, pans, knives and cutlery to use. The photos do it justice. Overall we had a wonderful stay. The bed with the ensuite bathroom was very comfortable. One room has a good balcony with proper windows, the living room and other room are quite dark but we knew that beforehand due to the other reviews. The vending machine with fresh farm eggs was a nice touch too. Overall, we would recommend the place. My sister's kids went to skischool, this was further away and not accessible by the main lift close by. To get there they needed to take the ski bus to a smaller village funicular. Just some info for who wants to book. We were happy to be on this side of Sölden because the beginner slopes weren't as busy as the other side. For young kids we thought this was better.

The pullout couch bed in the living room was really hard. The people who slept there were complaining that it was too hard. If I were the owner I would invest in a good mattress topper to make that more comfortable. The place was clean in general, but not thoroughly clean, we saw some dust, especially onder the beds when we retrieved some lego that fell down.

Location, location, location It was very conveniently located near the south cable lift (and ski depots). Not too far from shops. The apartment was comfortable, warm, and spacious.

Es war leider sehr laut, man konnte schlecht lüften weil es in 2 Zimmern nur ein Dachfenster gibt was bei Regen nicht aufgeht. Den kleine Balkon muss man sich teilen mit den Nachbarn, da wäre zumindest ein Sichtschutz schön. Die Leute rasen teils in die Ortschaft rein das man zum Schlafen auch die Balkontür zumachen musste. Dazu super hellhörig, unsere Nachbarn waren wortwörtlich zu hören bei ihren Unterhaltungen etc. Es gibt zwar einen Bikeraum, aber bei möglichen 10 + Personen in den 2 Wohnungen passten diese nicht alle in den Raum rein.
