About this villa rental
Stay in comfort at our luxury villa, featuring a comfortable living area, a fully equipped kitchen and 3 bedrooms each with ensuite bathrooms. It is designed to offer a perfect relaxing family lifestyle. Have a drink at your own private pool or enjoy the sea view in total privacy.
Entering the viila from the ground floor there is the kitchen, the dining & the living area. This level has direct access to te main terrace with a private swimming pool.
The bedrooms are divided into three floors offering privacy to all its guests. Wi-Fi, TV and air conditioning units will make your stay comfortable. The design of villa Estel is absolutely modern and luxurious.
In the lower level there is a fully equipped fitness room.
From 2022, the property will also offer its guests a private modern home gym.
The outdoor area offers amazing views to the sea and the natural landscape, while the swimming pool of 40sqm with a corner for children of 6.4sqm, the BBQ area and the dining table make this spot of the villa a gathering point to relax during day & night!

I should start by saying Chania and the entire area are beautiful. With hundreds of quality restaurants you're able to eat out every night without the need to revisit restaurants. Lovely beaches are within a five minute drive or 15 minute walk.
Villa Estel is a modern well equipped property an 18 minute drive from the old port, with fabulous outdoor space and air conditioned bedrooms.
Having said the above don't be fooled by the misleading images and description as the property is completely overlooked by a recently build villa adjoining this property. The outdoor space is also overlooked by a number of other properties so cannot reasonable be described as private.
Despite following all the arrival instructions we found ourselves waiting on the road outside the property for the owner to show up with the keys, this took just long enough for the frozen groceries we had just bought to thaw.

We had a marvelous week at Villa Estel. We are a family of six with two teenagers, and two adult children. The service and contact with the host was very good. We did rent a car but it was only ten minutes to walk down to the beach, restaurants and shops. Can highly recomend this place!

The house looks exactly like the picture, breathtaking. Location is great. The host was very thoughtful to leave us some snacks, drinks and wine to welcome us. The house is very clean inside. The managing company is very responsive. You can see an amazing sunset from the balcony! We sat by the pool every day, and it was wonderful. The gym is fully equipped and the washing machine worked great!
We wish there would have been some kind of welcome letter when we arrived to let us know the WiFi password. It was very stressful to not get the password, because we didn’t have SIM cards that worked in Greece. It would have also been nice to have some recommendations on local restaurants in the area as well as info for a taxi service for when we wanted to drink in Chania. The house next to the property is currently under construction every day of the week starting in the early morning. The dust from them cutting tiles got all over the pool area and balcony and made my bare feet irritated and itchy. One day, the owner came in to unlock the gym for us while my partner and I were being intimate. It would have been nice to know she was going to come at that time or to have a knock at the door rather than knowing our privacy was invaded by her coming into the house without announcement. Another day, she came in without warning us to clean up the dishes and change the sheets/towels. While this was very much appreciated, she did take 2 of our personal towels we had purchased for the trip.

Really fantastic property in good location just 10’ walk to the beach. Pool a little chilly in October but still usable.
Owners super especially when we locked ourselves out, on a national holiday!
