About this apartment rental
Just outside the village of Vöran (Verano), Kuenhof farm is located on the sunny high plateau of the Tschöggelberg, at an altitude of 1.450 m. Surrounded by forests and meadows, the modern Kuenhof apartments were built in 2019 and are very child-friendly, offering a playground and childrens equipment such as cutlery, amongst other things. The apartment Lavendel consists of a living/dining room with a sofa bed for 2 people and a kitchenette with a dishwasher, 2 bedrooms (one with a single bed and a bunk bed and one with a queen size bed) as well as one bathroom and can therefore accommodate 7 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi and satellite and cable television and underfloor heating. Furthermore, a baby cot and a high chair are available upon request. A common recreation room with a library and board games is also available for your use. The highlights of this apartment are definitely its private balcony as well as its infrared sauna cabin in the bathroom. Start your day with a delicious breakfast on your balcony while you admire the stunning view of the mountains. In an 8-10 minute drive you will reach a selection of restaurants and the nearest supermarket. Take a trip to the picturesque city of Meran (Merano), an approximately 23-minute drive away, and enjoy all it has to offer - from churches, museums and shops to idyllic walking paths and gardens. Furthermore, the apartment is the ideal accommodation for nature and sport lovers as it is situated directly by hiking trails. The Ski resort Meran 2000 is also only a 21-minute drive away (13.4 km)

There is a herbal garden at the property with thyme, marjoram, origano, basil, sage, chives, parsley, rosemary, peppermint, lemon balm and chamomile. The herbs can be picked by the guests as well.

Pros: Die Wohnung lässt in Punto Ausstattung keine Wünsche offen, perfekt! Besonders das Bad.
Cons: Nicht gefallen hat uns die Tierhaltung auf dem Hof. Die Milchkühe werden noch in Anbindehaltung im Stall gehalten und die Kälber befinden sich in kleinen Plastikboxen oder in einem dunklen Stall. Das Schaf und die Ziege befinden sich in einem kleinen Verschlag. Das hatten wir nicht erwartet. Das ist vom Gesetz her zwar ok, wir hätten uns aber gewünscht, dass die Tiere die wunderschöne Bergwelt etwas freier genießen könnten und damit unserer Vorstellung von der heilen Welt, Ferien auf dem Bauernhof, etwas näher zu kommen.
