Suites&Atelier Lake Como

I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels, but this was amazingly different. Apparently the building had been the atelier/workshop of a painter which showed in the décor. All the staff were very nice and helpful. Our bathroom was ‘special’, gold taps, like something out of Versailles, a very small balcony leading from the bathroom, with a distant view of part of the lake. All in all a mix of ‘old fashioned’ and ultra modern. Just 2 tips ; we had to negotiate quite a lot of stairs to reach the room, i.e stairs down from the road behind the building to the lobby, out thru a lovely courtyard, then stairs up to the room. Not so easy for us, with my husband’s mobility problems. It may be that they have a room on the ground floor. I did not think to ask when I booked. We came by car, and booked the private parking. They only have one private parking spot, interior, and very secure, so for us really worth the money. The thing is to find the parking, which is immediately opposite the Atelier entrance, in a side street, i.e not on the main promenade along the lake. Suggest phone them before arrival before arriving.

The room was extremely comfortable and well-equipped, especially with GHD hairdryer, straighteners, and a curler. The shower pressure was excellent, and everything was spotless with really nice facilities

Honestly, nothing. It was a fantastic stay from start to finish.

Beautiful place, excellent location, comfortable rooms. We loved that bathrooms even had things like hair curler. Everything is stylish and fitting together. Breakfasts had decent variety and were very good. No problem with the late check in, we got detailed instructions by whatsapp.

We didn't properly check the parking options after seeing that there is some parking available and the city parking around turned out to be extremely expensive and time limited. The property shouldn't write that the parking is available.
