Open plan kitchen and living room, sauna was great
This is actually linked with the chalet next door separated only by a door. Sounds go across and disturb the neighbors. so as we were a group playing card games and watching tv, we were asked to lower the volume by the neighbors. The description in booking refers probably to the bigger united chalet (it is not 400 sqm). The hosts are polite and accommodated our late check out request, which we were thankful for but not very responsive - only contact through booking.com message.

Chalet was absolutely gorgeous. Clean, comfortable and had every little extra you could ever want.
We stayed in January so last train back to Les boson (closet station to the chalet) left Chamonix at 19:30 so we where a little restricted if we wanted to stay out later as Ubers are very limited.

The chalet was well equipped and located right at the foot of the walk up to Les Bossons glacier. It was equi-distant between Chamonix and Les Houches so you could easily enjoy but also escape the hustle and bustle. A nice walk in to Chamonix took around 40 minutes.
Views were amazing straight out of the chalet towards the summit of Mont Blanc just visible. We enjoyed relaxing at night in the garden after busy days in the heat watching the headtorches of climbers play on some of the "big routes.
The chalet was comfortable for 8 of us and the big communal lounge and dining area was great.
It was incredibly hot throughout our stay so the large sliding doors around the lounge area were beneficial and enabled a breeze to come in and cool.
There was nothing really did not like.
A few niggles like anywhere that is popular so the following comments are worth noting but did not impact our stay in any way
The stairs are very dark and tight even with the lights on so would not recommend it for someone who struggles on stairs. The laundry room lighting seemed to have a mind of its own so use your phone torch.
The shower on the top floor bedroom leaks down onto the stairs below so we placed a bowl on the stairs and stopped using that after the first morning but did not cause an issue as two other showers were available.
The chalet is linked to the one next door although doors are locked so you can get noise from the next chalet.
