About this house rental
Perfect for gatherings of family/friends, retreats/courses. (Sorry, no parties). 3 miles from train station direct from London. Unrivalled views to Glastonbury Tor and Camelot. Not a soulless hotel but a quirky home from home with beautiful elegant reception rooms. A dramatic dining room seating 20, open fires, central heating, and large fully kitted farmhouse kitchen including electric aga, infrared sauna, gym equipment. The grounds include 2 lakes for wild swimming, boating, paddle boarding and picnics, and a yurt for BBQs/cocktails or teenage sleepovers. Firepits and outside dining areas and loungers. We can recommend a chef or house stylist for special celebrations and we can facilitate baby sitting or full staffing. As well as our regular cancellation policy, we will give 100% refund for short notice cancellations due to covid restrictions and we will shift the dates if there has been another crisis meaning the gathering is no longer possible on the dates booked.

We had the most incredible stay at the farmhouse with some of our friends and family either side of our wedding in Somerset. The farmhouse is incredibly well equipped, comfortable, cosy and homely with beautiful gardens and spectacular views over the fields out towards Glastonbury Tor. The grounds - including the yurt and lakes with boats and black swans are so unique and beautiful! We had a pre-wedding dinner in the stunning dining room, a BBQ the day after and made many happy memories which we’ll cherish for years to come. Huge thanks to Amanda, Charlie and Ola who were incredibly kind and helpful in the run up to and during our stay.

A HUGE thank you to Amanda for sharing her absolutely stunning home with me and my friends for a ladies weekend away celebrating my 40th birthday. I have done a number of big house weekends in my time but this one really tops them all by a mile. The photos had us very excited but do not do justice to just how welcoming, eye-catching and homely the house is, and where we were still discovering new things to play with, look at and admire, and find comfort on on day 3! Ola who lives in site have us a really welcoming informative walk around, where we quickly realised our every wish would be catered to, from kitchen facilities, to sound systems, to luxurious comfort both inside and out. The pond with willows and yurt was an absolute fave, and we spent a day down by the lake using the padel board, boats and watching baby goslings swim by. A big fire pit to sit around was lovely and in the winter I imagine just how cosy it would be with fires inside.Really do l cannot recommend this house highly enough. We very much hope to return!

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at New Park Farm. We found the beautifully decorated spacious house warm and comforting with its numerous open fires, comfortable arm chairs ,sofas and king size beds . We loved the uninterrupted views from the rooms .The house suited all of our party of 15 with ages ranging from 5 to 84 . The house offers so much for a relaxing stay . The grounds are wonderful, we walked , took short boat trips round the lakes and watched the birds and swans.Inside we enjoyed dinners in the huge dining room , played games, listened to music read and gathered around the piano for a family sing along .The house keeper who lives nearby was really helpful. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank You
