Authentic and cozy apartment (52 m2) for 6 persons in picturesque Eijsden, 10 minutes from Maastricht. The ideal base for all the beautiful, entertaining, cultural and active things South Limburg and the Euregio have to offer. Within 10 minutes to half an hour you can reach everything by train or car.
In Eijsden itself everything can be found within walking distance: from restaurants, cafes, picturesque streets, terraces, castles, nature, water fun, to a complete shopping center.
The Space:
AMBIANCE
The building dates from around 1900 and has been able to retain many authentic elements, while still enjoying all the contemporary luxury. That gives both atmosphere, cosiness and comfort.
LAYOUT
This apartment is over 52 m2 and is located on the first floor of this building and is suitable for 6 people. It has a nice living room with kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Authentic elements can be found in every room. The bathrooms are also very atmospheric.
LIVING WITH KITCHEN
Atmospheric living room (21.6 m2) with large U-sofa, dining table with 6 seats and a TV at the seating area. The TV is a smart TV equipped with Chrome cast, which means that you can use your own smart phone as a remote control to watch what you want through apps on your own smart phone. For example Netflix, Disney, Youtube and of course the streaming service of your own TV provider at home, so that you can watch all the channels that you have at home. Most TV providers nowadays have an app for free watching TV via streaming, which you can then download on your smart phone. We have a strong Wifi. In the living room there is a kitchen with ceramic hob, sink, fridge, dishwasher, oven-microwave-grill-combi, countertop and enough cupboard space above and below.
BEDROOM 1
Atmospheric 2-person bedroom (6.9 m2) with a Queensize (160x200 cm) box spring bed with pocket spring mattress and integrated comfort topper of 8 cm, which guarantees the best sleeping comfort. There is also a wardrobe in this room. This bedroom is located at the rear of the property and has 1 window.
BEDROOM 2
Atmospheric 2-person bedroom (6.9 m2) with a Queensize (160x200 cm) box spring bed with pocket spring mattress and integrated comfort topper of 8 cm, which guarantees the best sleeping comfort. There is also a clothes rack in this room. This bedroom is located at the rear of the property and has 1 window.
BEDROOM 3:
Atmospheric 2-person bedroom (6.6 m2) with a Queensize (160x200 cm) box spring bed with pocket spring mattress and integrated comfort topper of 8 cm, which guarantees the best sleeping comfort. There is also a clothes rack in this room. The bedroom is at the front of the building, has 1 window and an ensuite bathroom (bathroom 2).
BATHROOM 1 (THE RED ONE)
Beautiful bathroom (5.3 m2) with walk-in shower, toilet and sink. The bathroom is accessible from the living room. This bathroom is located at the rear of the property.
BATHROOM 2 (THE GREY ONE)
Beautiful bathroom (4.7 m2) with walk-in shower, toilet and sink. The bathroom is accessible from bedroom 3 via the scaffolding wooden sliding door and is therefore an ensuite. This bathroom is located at the front of the building and has 1 window.
HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING
Each radiator can be individually controlled. As a result, you only heat the rooms you find necessary for heating so we do not spoil any unnecessary energy. There is also an air conditioning you can switch on/off and control easily with a remote control
LOCKING AND CHECKIN
We work with a self-checkin system, which is the most flexible for both guests and us. Shortly before your arrival you will be provided with the checkin informatie (such as your access code).
Getting Around:
BY TRAIN
As described above, you only have to cross the street and you are at Eijsden railway station: the smallest, most southern and idyllic railway station in the Netherlands. So if you arrive by train at this property, you only have to cross the street to checkin. From Eijsden station you can easily do many daily trips at your destination, without have the parking problems which can have if you do these trips by car (especially the city trips):
- Maastricht: 11 minutes trip, scheduled every hour
- Visé: 4 minutes trip, scheduled every hour
- Valkenburg: 28 minutes trip (incl. 1 transfer), scheduled every hour
- Meerssen: 23 minutes trip (incl. 1 transfer), scheduled every hour
- Liège: 32 minutes trip, scheduled every hour
- Aachen: 75 minutes trip (incl. 1 transfer), scheduled every hour
- Sittard: 44 minutes trip (incl. 1 transfer), scheduled every hour
- Heerlen: 40 minutes trip (incl. 1 transfer), scheduled every hour
Trains run from early in the morning until late in the evening. Check the Arriva travel planner for ticket prices and exact times during the week and on Saturdays and Sundays.
BY CAR
If you have a car with you, you can park for free in one of the parking places in the street of this property. From this property, you can reach the motorway A2 within 3 minutes, with which you can drive in the direction of Maastricht, Belgium or Aachen.

Everything was exactly as described in the advert. Communication was problem-free. The location at the train station is perfect for a trip to Maastricht and the place itself is also very nice to pass the time. We will definitely be back.

We were celebrating our children’s graduation, and this cozy spot was perfect for a home base to explore the whole region. Everything was very clean and orderly, no broken fixtures. The host was very accommodating and helpful, as was the on-site cleaning staff. Many thanks for a perfect family trip!

Schöne Ferienwohnung in der Nähe von Maastricht
Die Ferienwohnung ist wirklich toll ausgestattet.
Die Eigentümer waren sehr zuvorkommend und haben Fragen sofort beantwortet. Das schönste dabei war, dass es einen Zahlencode gibt. So braucht man an der Haus und Wohnungstür keinen Schlüssel und kann diesen auch nicht verlieren.
