Dolce Vita in Tuscany B&B

A beautiful little BnB with everything needed and a real taste of what a real BnB is. When we arrived Erika was hosting a cooking class in the kitchen, we went to our room to get settled in. It was very quiet and peaceful, a small room with a private bathroom, a very comfortable bed and a really cosy feel. A good rural location for us as we rented a car and were travelling to lots of different places. This BnB was a good central point for us. (Amazing water pressure too in the shower!) very very clean water that we could drink from the tap which is rare for us Brits 😂 Reading other reviews I feel the need to say: This is not an ‘Air BnB’ this is a very traditional BnB. You do not have the property to yourself there are other guests (2 other rooms) and cooking classes. Our room was very private and comfortable and we did not mind that there were other people around as we were out all day. There is an area of the kitchen with a kettle and plates and cutlery and a fridge for snacks but you do not have access to cook your own food. Again we did not mind this as we read the information thoroughly and understood this upon booking. It is a beautiful, authentic Italian BnB and a wonderful experience. We loved it and would absolutely book again if we were in the area. I even left behind a cardigan that cannot be replaced and Erika has been kind enough to help send it back to me. Thank you for a lovely stay Erika, we are so lucky to have found your BnB.

Renovated place in a peaceful area near Lucca and Pisa.

If we reserve a stay in a B&B, we assume the breakfast is included ..... Apparently it was not. So this is a Bed without Breakfast. Not clearly specified on Booking website, nor you can 'book' the breakfast online somewhere. We only had contact with the host via Whatsapp during our stay, so we could not even ask for breakfast either upon our arrival. Furthermore, we did not have any forks, knives and/or spoons, so we could not even eat inside (as an alternative). That was really annoying. The concept is nice, but we feel that the B&B is not the main business of the host.
