We had really great stay at Trigrad, would definatel come back. The house was pretty small (however, enough for four adults for short stay) but very cozy and perfectly fit the location (mountain) vibe. The whole house was beautifully decorated, it felt like we were staying in ethnographical museum! If the weather was better, we would certainly spend more time outside by the river where you can do barbecue.
Would pay more attention while cleaning as there were few spider webs (on the walls) and minor details missed throughout the house (as a former housekeeper I see every detail). In case of bad weather in might be uncomfortable to get from one floor to the other - the stairs to the second floor are outside, meaning to get to the kitchen/shared space you have to go around the from the outside (as the house is small, and its understanable why the staircase if outside).

Place is just amazing with traditional bulgarian style. You can relax fully ,listening the river around the bone fire in the backyard.
Host-Maria is very kind and helpfull. Answers everything very quickly.

very clean, cosy and unique .
the bedrooms are upstairs with an external staircase only, in cold and rainy conditions it is not so comfortable… the heating is an open fireplace- you need to know how to work it.
the outside is a little rundown at the moment due to floods..
