Grooms cottage

The cottage was beautiful, and so were the surroundings. Steve and Sarah were helpful for anything you may need or would like to know. The cottage has everything you would need for your stay. The hot tub was exceptional, perfect to relax after a day out/relaxing days in/after horse riding at the equestrian centre

The thing we didn't like was having to go back home. We will definitely be returning to this beautiful cottage.

Steve was so friendly and even had the fire lit on our arrival which was a lovely touch, the cottage was perfect.... the hot tub was amazing and very private, i couldn't keep out of it...Also, the horses and stables were great, i loved to give the horses carrots and mints, of course by making sure with the staff/owners first, all were so friendly and the lovely school girls really show how much they love all the horses and dedication. The dogs too were lovely especially Doris Steve, is very laid back and very approcheable and helpful in every way, we will definately be re-booking soon.

Lovely little cosy cottage, parking right outside and quiet location on an equestrian centre. Met by the host who showed us how everything including the hot tub works, and introduced us to the friendly doggies who came to greet us! Accomodation was simple but had everything we needed and Steve had set a lovely coal firing going which was so welcoming to arrive to. Bunk beds had an adjustable bed guard already in place which was an absolute bonus as we usually have to bring our own everywhere for our young son. The main double bedroom had an electric blanket too, bliss! Both bedrooms had lots of hanging space for clothes and the Wifi/Internet was really reliable. We did jump in the hot tub one night which was much needed relaxation to start our mini break. Bathroom is lovely with a great shower and plenty of towels although we took our own for the hot tub as well. On the last day we realised there was a washer and dryer in the dining room cupboard too. It's a quick drive to Cleveleys front, nice parade of shops and nearby takeaways and about 20mins into Blackpool. We visit the area regularly so we'll definitely be looking to book here again, it was perfect for us!

A towel radiator would be a huge bonus in the bathroom.

Log burner already lit for us and host was friendly. Comfy double bed with nice clean sheets.

There was an overpowering smell of damp and hot tub chemicals, it felt like it hadn't been aired and someone had left very damp towells in the dryer so we put them on a chair in the back garden overnight then washed them. The smell was so strong it too 3 washes of our clothes back home to get rid of it. Also the hot tub area was very dirty with old tubs/filters/rugs etc.
