Beautiful surroundings and well done style around the property. Staff was attentive and sweet but were let down by the facilities.
We had bedbugs in our room and it felt and smelled damp/wet the entire stay (3 nights). After the first night we mentioned it to the staff who did a deep clean, changed the bed and offered us one bag of complementary laundry. This was a fine solution but the room kept smelling damp and mouldy for the duration of our stay.
Bugs were everywhere, no other place we stayed since or before this have had this much of an issue with bugs. Several spots had hives outside vents which is how they get in the rooms (see picture)
The resort is and feels old. Most of it seems under renovation as it was half-empty with many areas walled off and construction ongoing.
The resort is also about 2x price on food and drinks compared to all other resorts and islands we have stayed at in Thailand
