Beautiful house and rooms .. peaceful and quiet .. great comfy bed

The location, service and comfort were all excellent. The onsite parking was a good bonus for us as we road-tripped through NW France. Our family of four fit comfortably in the family room and appreciated the spacious bathroom. Arranging our arrival was simple with a quick phone call as we got near, since the staff isn’t on site full time. Breakfast was arranged for us in the kitchen and offered a simple, but tasty and adequate, selection of breads, cheeses, spreads and drinks.
Our only complaint was that the bunk beds could use some servicing - the metal frame squeaked a bit too much as the kids tossed and turned, and ended up waking each other up a few times as a result.

limited and no milk provided for tea / coffee
When we arrived the telephone number we had been given to notify the hotel that we were 15 minutes from arrival did not work and no one had told us that we needed to go to the reception at the Best Western Hotel in the square... fortunately we were helped by a very kind gentleman who was walking his dog who explained and obviously this has happened to other guests..the staff at the Best Western were very helpful.
The bathroom did not have a fan and we could not open the windows so very steamed up .. no bathrobes provided and no milk in the kitchen for a cup of tea when we finally got into the house which was very dark and many of the lights in the drawing room did not work.
