Quiet place in the low season. Hostel rooms were fine with nice bathroom. They just need to fix the doors to the rooms and bathrooms because of the squeaky sound :/ What a surprise was a free welcone drink :)

We stayed in the king private room for one night. The staff were great and friendly. However the bed hard like a rock, and no mattress or pillow protectors. Sheets and towels are not cleaned to a hotel standard nor is the room. Mold is everywhere around the windows and doors. Air fresheners over power the room and affected my asthma. At the price we paid I had higher expectations, also the food and drinks are far too expensive for the location but the food was great.
The worst part about our stay was the maintenance crew that worked and made a lot of noise from 10pm till daybreak! Banging and grinding, installing tiles to the bar area while drinking 10+ large bintang while on the job. Customers pay for a room to sleep!! We barely got a couple of hours. I can’t imagine the other customers in rooms closer to the work… very unprofessional. So we informed the staff on check out and said we would not return.
