About this house rental

Comfortable light-filled cottage in the medieval town of Herrstein. Great base for hiking or biking in the Hunsrück National Park. Minutes from Mittelalterpfad ("medieval path"), voted Germany's most beautiful hike, and Kupfer-Jaspis Pfad, voted Germany's 2nd most beautiful hike. Drive 10 min to the Wildenburg to observe wolves, boar, and deer. 20 min to the 10th-century Schmidtburg and Celtic Altburg. Short drive to Moselle vineyards. Easy 1.5h drive from Frankfurt; 40 min from FRA Hahn.

A real break from hectic normal work life. All you need to regain some work life balance. Wonderful walking surroundings, easy cozy living home (multi story house). Wonderful outside sitting areas. Fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms. Easy access to basic shopping, to woods and vallies, even near an electric car charging station​. Well done, thanks very much Petra and family!

Perfekt gelegen im hübschen mittelalterlichen Städtchen Herrstein, direkt neben dem Einstieg zum 8km langen Mittelalterpfad. Alles da was man braucht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Woche dort sehr genossen.
