Core-refurbished holiday home / chalet for 20 people in a panoramic position "Haflinger Alm" on Kreuzberg in the Rhön.
Our beautiful Rhön is a low mountain range in the border area of the German states of Bavaria, Hesse and Thuringia. In 1991, the Rhön was recognized by UNESCO as a biosphere reserve. Our chalet "Haflinger Alm" is located at about 800 meters on the Kreuzberg and offers a breathtaking view of the Rhön due to its special location. The renovation of the Haflinger Alm was only finished at the end of 2019, so modern equipment and furnishings mix with the almost untouched nature.
Equipped with a total of 4 bedrooms with 4-5 beds each and a high-quality mattress camp with a romantic view of the starry sky, our chalet thus offers space for a maximum of 20 people. A fully equipped and spacious kitchenette in the open living and dining area invites you to cook and linger in front of a large panoramic window. A wood stove with a glass pane in the living area and a barbecue area with a fireplace on the spacious outside area in front of the alpine hut ensure the right atmosphere and cosiness. The Alm has a total of 3 modern bathrooms with a large panoramic shower. There is a small playground for children. You can start many beautiful hikes through the Rhön from the Haflinger Alm, or go skiing in winter. There is free parking right in front of the chalet. After approx. 6.5 km you will reach the small town of Bischofsheim with a beautiful old town and shopping facilities.
