There were so many little touches that made this holiday home really stand out. And everything that couldn’t be thought of has been

I think the owners house is really close and its maybe not advertised quite how close

The location was ideal for exploring many nearby towns / cities and countryside areas and the village the property is set in is very quiet and tranquil. The hosts were very friendly and polite; we did not see them often as we were very much left to ourselves in the property, despite the property being located in the hosts' garden. The property itself was clean, quiet and comfortable with a good standard of decoration and good facilities, including Smart TVs, plenty of kitchen equipment and a very good shower! The views out the back of the property were also great and quite different to the city living we are used to ordinarily!

There wasn't anything we did not like or were unhappy with during our stay - we both had a great time away from home! However, if we were to suggest a couple of small improvements to the host, we would suggest fitting a small shelf within the shower as a useful addition to the bathroom and perhaps a full-length or freestanding mirror in the bedroom.

Location good, a great centre for exploration. Very clean, bed & sofas comfortable, welcome gift of eggs, bread, butter & biscuits appreciated.

No door between lounge & bedroom, and lights only in ceiling so even when dimmed were intrusive. No hoover. Brush supplied but no dustpan, so couldn’t sweep up. Felt like a granny annexe round the back of the main house - converted garage, so no real atmosphere very clinical.
