The location although a bit further away from the bustling Palm Springs and Palm Desert provided us with views and serenity not found in the bigger cities. The bedrooms and the main living area had large picture windows facing the mountains which provided us amazing sunsets and sunrises. the bathroom was large and had a very unique tall body heater that looked like a throw back to the 50's. The place has unique painted walls and large closets for storage. Beds are very comfortable and we appreciated the amenities in the bathroom and kitchen areas. We would describe the yard area that could be about a half an acre in size as desert rustic that has an abundance of cacti and some abandoned car parts as 'art'. The patio and outside furniture was much appreciated unexpected. We felt safe in the area and utilized the locked gate coming and going. Overall a very unique stay that made our week in the desert memorable. Thanks!! (Great communication with the host as well)
