About this castle / palace rental
Charming property with an outdoor swimming pool in landscaped gardens and an indoor Scandinavian sauna.
The Château l'Hubertière, 700m2, includes several suites, some with private balconies or terraces, as well as a large living room, TV areas, a desk and a family kitchen. The tastefully renovated 18th century mansion is surrounded by a hectare park with trees and flowers. A shaded terrace will allow you to take your meals near the swimming pool, and the centenary cedar.
The chateau is very comfortable: equipped with 2 dishwashers, a fridge, a freezer, a gas stove, 4 ovens, a microwave, a coffee machine, laundromat, games for young and old and all the utensils necessary for convivial meals in all seasons. An orchard, stone benches and a fountain complete the park in which you will enjoy spending lazy afternoons and playing games with family or friends. On arrival, you will find a welcome basket with groceries for your first morning on site.
Free WiFi and free private parking are available on site. Cooking services at home by a chef, massage, bicycle rental are available upon reservation.
4 rooms are suites. 5 bedrooms share 3 additional bathrooms. Most of the rooms are very large with relaxing areas (armchairs, daybeds, small lounges). 2 bedrooms have Juliette balconies and one suite has a private living room and a terrace overlooking the garden.

Located in Bouresse, a countryside village, near Poitiers and 20 minutes from the Val de Vienne racing circuit. The location is central for visiting the West of France and its vineyards: Chinon is 1:30 am, Bordeaux 2:30. Nearby: tennis, fishing, horse riding or cycling, kayaking, climbing, Dienné domain, medieval city of Chauvigny, St Savin Abbey, opera house at the Roman amphitheater of Sanxay and of course Le Futuroscope.
A reception area in the old stables can accommodate larger events at an additional cost. Weddings, seminars, birthdays, we can help you organize your personal or professional events.

You can tell that this chateau is well loved and cared for by the owner. For those of you who know the BBC TV show "Escape to the Chateau", we decided to try staying in a chateau for a few weeks before looking to buy ourselves. We were not disappointed. The space just feels warm for such a huge space. So tastifully decorated, but still comfortable and family friendly. Had excelllent communication with the management company and was very responsive. The town is lovely and everything is at your doorstep. Our only disappointment is that the internet service was limited to only two rooms in the chateau. Otherwise, we wish we did not have to leave!

This is a fantastic place to come and relax. It has modern amenities so it is both welcoming and comfortable. The owners have done a great job styling it in an original and tasteful way, unlike many country properties I've seen, and the garden and pool were a perfect playground for my daughter. Happy to recommend.
