"Il Gelsomino 2" is located in a hilly position surrounded by greenery with a splendid view of the hills a few kilometers from San Gimignano.
Ideal place for those who love to spend their free time in the tranquility of the countryside in close contact with nature and with the main artistic attractions close at hand. Rustic style house with exposed beams and terracotta tiles
It consists of a living-dining room with access to the garden and a fully equipped kitchenette (4 burner stove, fridge, microwave oven, washing machine.)
Large double bedroom, bathroom with shower / toilet and mezzanine with the second bedroom with two single or double beds.
Large exclusive garden equipped with table, chairs and deck chairs. Park and swimming pool in a panoramic position for the exclusive use of the guests of the village.
We are in the heart of Tuscany a few km. from San Gimignano and Gambassi Terme from where the famous Via Francigena passes, destination of numerous pilgrims in search of spectacular and unspoiled landscapes with the possibility of visiting the Franciscan convent of San Vivaldo which with its chapels is called the "Little Jerusalem".
In less than an hour you can reach the art cities of Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca, Pistoia, Arezzo.
The medieval village of Certaldo Alto, home of Giovanni Boccaccio where he lived and died in his home in Via Boccaccio, is 12 km away. of distance.
In this village, during the summer, numerous events of cultural and artistic interest take place and in the second of July the spectacular festival "Mercantia" with companies of street artists and artisans from all parts of the world animate every corner of the village.
The magnificent city of Volterra and the Chianti road are about 15 km away.

This was a nice location for a sister trip! It was centrally located to every place that we wanted to go to! The apartment was very nicely appointed and comfortable for us!
