About this villa rental
The villa was completly restored in 2008. Its owners wanted to preserve the typical architectural style of Lucca' s country houses but, inside, the house is very functional, modern and elegantly furnished.
The house is formed by two ground floors. The ground floor is made up of a open space of about 75 m², including the dining room, a big kitchen, hall and the living room with sofas and a big fireplace. There is also a little bathroom.
On the first floor there is a double room (red room), a twin room (blu room), a bathroom with shower and the main bedroom (green room) with an en-suite bathroom. The house is surrounded by a garden, about 3.000m², - and the property consist of more then 25.000 m² - where you' ll find a nice gazebo overlooking the beautiful panorama and the swimming pool, (6m by 12m) open from 25th April to 5th October.
"This is a house for those who love the countryside, nature and relaxation, without feeling suffocate by it." As quoted by one of the owners. You can reach Lucca (18Km) in less than 30 minutes, Montecatini Terme is 27 km, Pisa is 50 and in 40 minutes you can reach Versilia (50Km).In one hour you can go to Florence, that is only 78 km far, or follow the "Strada del Vino" along the gentle Chianti' s hills.If you love the countryside and sport activities, here you can go tracking, horse riding, biking and swimming; but if you like relaxation and art you can spend yuor time visiting historical cities and enjoying good food and wine in the many restaurants in the area.But you don' t forget to visit the old Lucca's Villas. They are marvellous.

This is an absolutely beautiful location set in the hills with the most fantastic view, we were blown away by the scenery, it was so peaceful. The children absolutely loved the pool we could not have asked for more, the kids also loved the chickens and the friendly cat family that came to visit. We will definitely come back to explore a bit more. Whilst we were here we went to Pisa and Florence both of which are roughly an hour away but whilst you are here I would strongly suggest the beautiful City of Lucca, and the cherry ice-cream in pescia just down the road next to the supermarket.

A wonderful stay in a lovely villa ideal for a relaxing 'away from it all' stay. A quality place with amazing views and a delightful pool and outdoor seating area. Indoor, everything was clean and tidy with comfortable beds. The only tricky bit was finding the place - it is a 10 minute drive from civilisation via a one track road - so make sure you stock up on food on your way there !
