rarely leave reviews despite having traveled to over 60 countries, but this hidden gem in the Verona hills deserves one. It’s an easy 20-minute walk to the city center. Everything earns a perfect 10: the warm welcome, spacious room, stunning environment, breathtaking views, exceptional customer service, delicious food, and the staff’s incredible courtesy.
This ranks among my top 3 stays ever, and I’ll definitely return. They even offered a complimentary taxi to the city, and the breakfast was top-notch with every imaginable option. Special thanks to the chef and director for their personalized welcome—they treated us like royalty!
I’m impressed by every detail, including the spa with indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzi, and sauna (open all day), plus the generous supply of towels and attentive service that respects your privacy. I recommend it to anyone!

A couple of miles outside Verona; walkable downhill but best reached on return by taxi - and Hotel does lay on one round-trip taxi per day in the room rate.
Excellent breakfast spread with lots of fruit, and hot options. plus daily home-made cake.
2 swimming pools - both outside, and inside with a sauna and jacuzzi, but not really heated. Can be crisp!
Nice room (6) with good sized shower stall, and a nice verandah.
Nice staff (thanks Silvia!). Never busy, with only 9 rooms.
Be aware there is no restaurant for evening meals. They have a list, and we walked the first evening (5 minutes on a track) to a really nice local one.

So, if you like quiet sophistication without too much fuss then this is the place for you.
It’s on a hill overlooking the town. If you like walking (we do) then nipping into the old town down an old Italian lane is a piece of cake.
Outdoor pool for cooling off after a tourist giro di Verona is a blessing.
The staff were brilliant. Super chilled and efficient. Grazie! 🏴
The only thing (but iykyk) is taxis home from town late are sometimes hard to get. But if you plan ahead then it’s easy!
