Delighted to return to the Black Cat guesthouse.
Everything about out the Black Cat is Guest orinated. Welcoming Staff. Comfortable. Spotless clean. The rooms offer modern comforts while retaining the traditional character . Fresh white interior soothing and restful. Complimentary water. Easy checkin and self checkout is perfect for the Business Guest leaving early. Convenient location in the centre of Salthill. Public parking on street or nearby public car park.

Lovely bijou hotel, beautifully but simply decorated, staff were friendly, the room though small , was perfectly adequate for my 1 night stay. The room was spotless, bed and pillows extremely comfortable. The tea/coffee hub just outside my room was lovely and very welcoming and a really good choice of quality tea and coffee. The hand/ body wash in the bathroom was so luxurious and smelled amazing.
My old knees aren't what they used to be so having to climb 32 steps in sweltering outdoor temperatures wasn't ideal, next time I would request the lower floor. There was no hot water in sink or shower but given the extremely hot weather I didn't mind at all having a cool shower

I had a lovely stay here. The room was small, but very nicely decorated and was fine for me. The room was to the front but there was little noise. I ate there also and the food (the tapas) was excellent. I would definitely recommend both the accommodation and the restaurant.
