About this house rental
This is our former men's farm, which was built around 1930. The house was recently renovated, is equipped with every comfort and can accommodate 8 people with 4 bedrooms. A cot and high chair are available. On the ground floor are the kitchen, dining room, TV room (Canal Digital) and fireplace room. The property is on a plot of more than 2,000 m2.
Enjoy the peace in the orchard and in the nature in the area or an active holiday. Everything is possible.
In summer and autumn, the orchard supplies cherries, plums, apples and pears, and the garden borders on a small running stream. A nice place for children to play.
The house is 10 minutes from the Diemelsee. There are many activities to do in the area, such as: summer tobogganing, climbing forest, ice rink, karting, bowling, cinema, lagoon pool.
You can also walk on the many hiking trails and mountain bikes. Korbach, Brilon and Waldeck Castle are easily accessible.
In winter there is a lot of sledges in the garden.
Willingen with its wonderful slopes can be reached by car in 10 minutes.

Nice and quiet place, spacious and well equiped. Could have been a bit cleaner and we missed some relaxing garden chairs. Besides that we had a great week at this lovely place!

Es handelt sich um einen Herrenhof in einem Abgelegenen und landschaftlich wunderschön gelegenen Ortsteil von Willingen im Sauerland. Wir waren in den Herbstferien mit unseren drei Kindern (2-5 Jahre) und einem befreundeten Paar für eine Woch dort. Das Haupthaus ist in einem renovierten, nicht kernsanierten Zustand, wodurch allerdings der Charm des Anwesens besonders zur Geltung kommt. (Fenster, Außentüren und Heizungsanlage, sowie die Sanitären Anlagen und die Küche sind aber in einem modernen Zustand!)
Besonders schön ist der weitläufige Garten mit Apfelbäumen, Schaukel und Hängematte. Wetterbedingt haben wir nicht gegrillt, dies ist aber problemlos mit den vorhandenen Mitteln möglich. Den Schuppen um unsere 7 Fahrräder unterzustellen fanden wir super.

Wir sind als Familie mit Großeltern und Hunden angereist. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr nett. Das Haus ist großzügig, alles vorhanden was man braucht und noch mehr. Der Garten ist toll. Wir haben uns im Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und die Athmosphäre eines schön renovierten alten Bauernhauses sehr genossen. Die Umgebung bietet gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, schöne Wanderwege und für jede Altersgruppe etwas.

Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen, liebevoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet. Wir haben mit 5 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern eine wunderbare Woche dort verbracht. Die Lage bietet alles, was man sich für einen Familienurlaub wünscht: Natur vor der Tür, Einkaufs- u. ein breites Freizeitangebot in 10 Autominuten entfernt. Kirsty ist eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin und die Kommunikation mit ihr war stets unkompliziert. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
