The stylish and cozy 'Friesenhaus' for up to 8 people is located on a spacious thatched roof estate within sight of the dike in front of Sylt. It consists of the originally peasant house with a former stable and has been modernized with much love since the 1970s, so that the special and individual character of this house has been preserved to this day.
Low windows, doors and ceilings, tiled walls, fitted wardrobes.
Unusual, but Frisian. Plus plenty of space to relax - tradition meets comfort.
We offer you the extension built later as a separate holiday home 'time out' for 2 or a family of up to 4 people. The extension has also been modernized and, like the 'Friesenhaus', is geared towards demanding holiday guests.
As "Deichglück" you are welcome to book both objects together, for example for your family reunion. Then you have up to 12 beds as well as a sauna and garden with a glass pavilion on the approx. 4,000 m² plot. Evening sitting under ancient beams by the stove is included.
"Deichglück", "Friesenhaus" and "Auszeit" are non-smoking properties (house and property), unfortunately pets cannot go on holiday here.
Taking a North Sea holiday means, above all, blowing lots of air, light and fresh wind around your nose. Walk to the dike crown in 5 minutes and look from there to the islands of Sylt and Föhr. You can use Sylt e.g. B. by bike and train from Klanxbüll in one hour, Föhr via the ferry port Dagebüll in 2 hours. Amrum with the beautiful Kniepsand beach is also worth a day trip. In the immediate vicinity, past the salt marshes, you will reach the Südwesthörn swimming area, your entrance to the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site, after 2 km. You will also find a restaurant there.

Wir waren hier eine Woche mit der Familie und haben es sehr genossen, gerne wieder.

Uns hat der Aufenthalt im Haus sehr gut gefallen. Gelegen direkt am Deich, dahinter nur noch Marschland auf dem Schafe weiden und dahinter die Nordsee ist es idyllischer fast nicht machbar. Am Besten packt man das Auto voll mit Vorräten und bewegt sich danach gar nicht mehr vom Anwesen weg, außer für ausgiebige Spaziergänge auf den Deichen. Das ist Entschleunigung at it's best, sogar für 17-jährige Teenager, die dank WLAN trotzdem noch mit dem Rest ihrer Welt verbunden bleiben :-). Trotz Hauptsaison war der Aufenthalt dort beschaulich und auch in der umliegenden Gastronomie hat man nie das Gefühl im Touristenstrom zu versanden. Wir werden uns immer wieder sehr gerne für dieses Haus entscheiden und danken den Eigentümern sehr herzlich dafür, dieses tolle Haus mit anderen zu teilen. Man merkt an der Ausstattung, dass das Haus auch von den Eigentümern gerne genutzt wird. Alles ist so, wie man es sich selbst aussuchen würde.

Wir haben Ende Oktober 2017 hier ein wunderbares langes Wochenende verbracht. Das Haus ist ein Traum. Es ist wunderschön und liebevoll eingerichtet und auch bestens ausgestattet mit Geschirr und Kochutensilien. Wir haben das Haus als Großfamilie mit drei Generationen bewohnt und uns richtig wohlgefühlt. Aufgrund der Galerie, den zwei Wohnstuben und dem großen Esstisch gab es genug Rückzugsmöglichkeiten für alle. Besonders gut hat uns das Entree mit dem Kaminofen gefallen. Hier haben wir viele gemütliche Stunden vor dem Feuer verbracht. Ein großer Pluspunkt war auch die ruhige, abgeschiedene Lage direkt am Deich. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt nochmal wieder. Das Haus ist unbedingt empfehlenswert!

Wir waren für ein verlängertes Wochenende in diesem sehr typisch gebauten und durch die Einrichtung und den Stil weiter erhaltenen nordfriesischen Ferienhaus. Unsere Familie hat sich sehr wohlgefühlt und genossen, dass die Ausstattung auf einem hohen Niveau war. Noch besser wäre es gewesen, wenn es drei Doppelbetten gegeben hätte. Aber es war alles so, wie vorher beschrieben und auch die Bilder geben einen realistischen Eindruck ab. Man kann toll am Tisch oder im Wohnzimmer zusammen "klönen". Das Haus liegt etwas abseits, aber das ist kein Problem, denn das ist es gerade, was die Region dort ausstrahlt und weswegen wir hergekommen waren. Zusammengefasst: Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
