About this house rental
Summer in Les Arcs 1950: There are numerous activities to participate in during the summer, including Mountain biking, white water rafting, golf, tennis, swimming, walking, archery, trampolining, glacier ski-ing, guided trekking, climbing and canoeing to mention but a few.
Winter in Les Arcs 1950: As a part of what is now the largest ski area in Europe you have access to a vast network of lifts right from your doorstep. In a day on piste you can ski from 1950 across to Vallandry, take the Vanoise Express over to La Plagne and ski all the way to Montalbert for lunch, returning in the afternoon. You can easily visit the picturesque, traditional resorts of Villaroger, Montchavin, Champagny, Peissy and Vallandry as well as the more modern villages of Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 2000, Belle Plagne, Plagne 1800, Aime La plagne and Plagne Centre.
The variety of ski-ing on and off piste is second to none, from the glaciers of Bellecote and Aiguille Rouge to the tree lined runs of Peissy and Villaroger. Even when the weather is snowy and visibility is poor, the lower, tree lined runs remain pleasurable and easy to ski. The high altitude means that the ski-ing is good throughout the season and the vast network of lifts means that there are rarely significant queues to hold you up.
