Nice looking hotel, food is excellent, heated pools huge bonus specially if you are coming off season, entertainment was ok - we were off season I am sure it's much better during the main season.
1. last year we got free upgrade - family room with two separate rooms. This year we thought it will be like automatic as returned guests but got just standard room - a bit small for 4 people (2 adults, 2 teen kids) with 3 standard beds and one rollaway bed, we were told we could try to change it after few days but it was just too much hassle to pack everything again, so we kept the room. 2. you are in the middle of nowhere - for some people it could be disapointing as you need to get taxi to town. 3. if you are looking for a nice big beach, this is not the right place for you, the hotel beach is very small.

The food definitely deserves a special mention. There’s a great variety, and everything is both delicious and beautifully presented. I especially loved the dessert corner! 🍰
The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful. Whenever we needed something, they were quick to assist and always with a smile.

Hotel facilities were great. Meals spread was wonderful with a lot of options. Staff were constantly working hard to keep the premises spotless.
Once in the hotel, our stay was very comfortable… however our checkin was far from comfortable. On arriving at the hotel after an almost 12 hour journey, we were told by the guest relations that they didn’t have a room for us as they were overbooked. They offloaded us to another hotel based 30 min away, absolutely filthy and nothing compared to what Maxeria had. This experience left a very bitter taste especially when we met a few more families who had to face the same issue for the 1st few days of our stay. They didn’t have to wait until we got to the hotel from the airport… instead could’ve informed us in advance and handled it in a better way than to give us the shock of our lives!! However, after 3 days once we got a proper room, everything was comfortable and the staff couldn’t be more helpful.
Also, hotel could possibly start looking after their vegetarian clients by keeping veg dishes separate at the buffet and labelling all the dishes correctly ( a basic requirement in today’s world ).
